Title: A Breakdown On A Lonely Night
Last week we had an educational excursion under the guidance of our teachers of history. And we visited Murshidabad. When we finished, our bus started the return journey at 7.30 pm.
While returning by bus overnight we got stuck by a sudden breakdown. The bus stopped in the dark in a lonely place. The driver reported a tyre got punctured. Our teachers said, "Nobody will get down. All shutters down."
The driver and the assistant got down to repair the wheel. They would need time.
No shops were around. No houses. Only agricultural fields were on both sides of the road. The howls of the foxes were coming from here and there. We had to wait for two hours in that situation.
The driver shouted, " Done, it's all right. We will start. Get into the bus if anyone is out."
But no was out and we started. The bus took more than one and a half hours. When we reached home the clock struck one.
